Launched in April 2017, the Indiana Law Enforcement Memorial’s mission of being “Dedicated to Honoring all of our State’s Fallen Officers” was created and now remembers all officers from our state’s first in 1824 to our most recent.
Each of the over 440 law enforcement officers are remembered through individual memorials detailing their own personal stories and the incidents in which they made the ultimate sacrifice for the citizens of Indiana. Along with individual memorials, the most comprehensive database for Indiana line of duty deaths has been compiled and maintained for accuracy. An advanced search capability allows a user to search every Indiana line of duty death by using any combination of 10 variables. An exclusive interactive Line of Duty Death Map has been designed to depict the actual or approximate location where every fallen officer’s incident has occurred. Additional features will be offered to include expanded statistical information and to conduct research into officer deaths from the past to determine eligibility.
INLEM operates solely on donations, please contribute to our cause at our donate page.
