K-9 Cade died as a result of suffering from heat exhaustion while tracking a suspect the previous day.

When K-9 Cade developed symptoms of heat exhaustion, he was taken to a local veterinarian and later transferred to another facility where he died the following day.

K-9 Cade, a 5-year-old male Belgian Malinois, had served with Hendricks County Sheriff’s Department for nearly four years.
