Introducing ‘We Remember’ Daily Remembrances

1/2/2018- The Indiana Law Enforcement Memorial announces the introduction of ‘We Remember’, a daily remembrance of the line of duty deaths that occurred on that date in our state’s history.

Every day, each of the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice will be prominently honored on our homepage so they are never forgotten. On those dates in which there were no line of duty deaths in history, visitors will be made aware of this as well.

As each officer is displayed, links will be provided to view their individual memorial or to share on Facebook, WhatsApp and Twitter. Currently, those dates with the most line of duty deaths are December 11 with five and May 27 with six officers.

With the implementation of this feature, daily remembrances posted directly to our Facebook page and Twitter account will be discontinued. Any law enforcement or other interested website wishing to include our ‘We Remember’ feature on their site are encouraged to contact us at [email protected] for more information.
