Munster Police Officer Joseph G. Pacheco, 41, passed away on January 9, 2018 after a yearlong battle with brain cancer. He was a 12-year veteran of the department and served as a School Resource Officer at the time of his diagnosis. Officer Pacheco is survived by his wife, daughter, son, four brothers and parents.
